Reports of the latest attack follow shootings that left a man - who was also riding a pushbike - shot in the knee in Kensington, another man with leg injuries after being shot in Kirkby and a front window damaged by bullets in Bootle along with multiple Knife attacks in the area too.
I have been told by a source that the gunman fired his weapon but it jammed when taking a second shot before fleeing the area.
